This Privacy Policy describes how UTEXSAVE collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data of users of the website https://utexsave.com.

UTEXSAVE places great importance on the protection of personal data and acts in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (“Informatique et Libertés”).

0. General Privacy Policy — UTex Save

UTex Save is designed to help users recover unsaved text content.

The application saves text history locally on the user's device to enable the recovery of lost content. All data remains stored exclusively on the user's device.

UTEX SAVE:

does not transmit any personal data to external servers,

  • does not collect any data remotely,

  • does not sell or share user data,

  • does not use any hidden analytics or tracking services,

  • does not display or save bank details,

  • stores captured content only locally on the user's device.

To provide text recovery features, the application may locally process text input and clipboard content in order to save recoverable text history on the user's device. UTex Save is not designed to collect passwords, banking information, or sensitive authentication data.

USERS :

The user is informed during installation and first launch that the application provides local text recovery features which may require access to locally entered text and clipboard history.

By default, text recording features are disabled on first launch. The user must explicitly choose to enable text recovery and clipboard monitoring features.

All captured content remains stored locally on the user's device and is never transmitted to external servers.

The user can at any time:

  • disable automatic startup,

  • stop recording,

  • clear the saved history,

  • uninstall the application.

The Microsoft Store version and the version distributed directly under license adhere to the same privacy principles.
